Simple decisions
Open the map, choose a scenario, prepare the trip, and go.
Independent outdoor platform
I am building ThruHike as a platform that makes it easier to find places, plan trips, choose gear, discover rentals, and bring people together around real outdoor recreation.
Personal note
A short personal video from the founder.
The project grew from a personal love of the road, fishing, camp life, simple solutions, and real rest. I am building ThruHike step by step so the path from a trip idea to a real outdoor day becomes simpler and more honest.
ThruHike is an independent outdoor platform for nature trips. It brings together a places map, routes, trips, fishing, rentals, gear, an AI assistant, and a community of people who care not only about going somewhere, but about understanding where, why, and how.
For a long time I felt that real rest was becoming rarer. There is too much noise, advertising, artificial polish, and overpaying for nothing — and too few simple tools that genuinely help people get outdoors, switch off, and feel alive.
I have always loved long drives, fishing at sunrise, setting up a simple camp, talking with friends, and inventing practical things that make trips genuinely easier.
That is how the idea of ThruHike gradually appeared — a project about honesty, simplicity, and real usefulness. It is about helping people do more than look at nature on a phone: actually go out, rest, and clear their head.
The project has grown far beyond the first notes and ideas, but the core remains the same: make outdoor recreation more accessible, clearer, and more honest.
Make outdoor recreation accessible, honest, and convenient.
Open the map, choose a scenario, prepare the trip, and go.
Real places, clear terms, useful gear, and less noise.
ThruHike shortens the distance from a trip idea to actually getting outdoors.
Places, categories, routes, fast search, and trip scenarios.
Creation, joining, members, chat, checklists, and preparation.
Sessions, notes, bite activity, places, recommendations, and fishing intelligence.
Gear Hub, selection, lists, purchases, reservations, and kits.
Pickup points, items, terms, prices, and booking flow.
Shared trips, members, ambassadors, offers, and privileges.
ThruHike helps you find places, build routes, discover nearby points, and use trip and fishing scenarios in one interface.
Trip Map brings together natural places, routes, recreation bases, fishing spots, rentals, and offline navigation.
In ThruHike you can find trips, join other participants, create your own scenarios, and use club offers inside the platform.
ThruHike helps not only choose a place, but prepare for the trip: find a rental point, open Gear Hub, view items, and move toward booking or purchase.
Mobile app
The map, fishing sessions, AI assistant, and quick actions stay close at hand on the road and outdoors.
ThruHike grows step by step: some scenarios are already available, some are in progress, and some are planned. The detailed roadmap lives on a separate page.
ThruHike is built as a living project, without intrusive advertising, extra noise, or pressure. The main goal is to simplify the path from “I want to get outdoors” to an actual trip.
I develop the project gradually, based on real scenarios from people who hike, fish, travel, try new things, and want to make it simpler.
ThruHike is in active development. Some features may be refined and changed — that is a normal part of product growth. The project grows around real scenarios: trips, fishing, maps, gear, rentals, community, and mobile experience.
If you use the platform now, you are effectively helping shape it with me.
